What are you cooking up for the holidays? Winnie would like to know…
Hard to believe that we are at the end of another year, oh Kitchen Scout subscribers! The blog’s 3rd year is officially in the bag with this post and I will see you again for more Kitchen Scouting on January 6, 2017.
I want to take this opportunity to count my #blessings and say thank you to everyone who reads this blog, refers a friend, tries a recipe and writes a comment (or two or three for some of my regulars!). I appreciate each and every one of you so very much and it makes this somewhat isolating “work” worth it.
Thank you also to the many friends and family who joined me on my excursions to restaurants and who, behind the scenes really supported and motivated me to keep things humming along this year. Thanks to my friends who recipe tested for me – I will be sending more recipes your way in the new year! To everyone who made suggestions for improving the blog, thank you. I want to hear your ideas and your feedback!
And thank you to Where Women Cook for publishing me in its magazine and to Matthew Mead for bringing me the opportunity and photographing my kitchen, my food and me!
As in the past year-end reviews, I have rounded up every single post from 2016 and put them into categories for easy reference below. If you are new to the blog, then this post will be an easy way to see what was happening before you subscribed, allowing you to pick and choose what you want to read. I have also included the Wrap it Up posts from 2015 and 2014.
Wishing you all the very happiest of holidays and best wishes for 2017! xoxo

Thank you for another wonderful year of “scouting ” Valerie! It’s always a pleasure to open my in-box on Friday mornings and see what you have been cooking.
