As promised, here is the last post for 2018 which is the annual wrap up of The Kitchen Scout posts from this past year. In one fell swoop, you can find links to all the recipes, restaurant reviews, travel posts and other musings from 2018 below. Please click away! At the bottom of the post will be links to the past 4 year-end wrap ups as well that are the best way, in my opinion, to get a broad brush of The Kitchen Scout archives.
I hope everyone enjoys what remains of the holiday season. Thank you so much for reading, commenting, cooking from the blog and most importantly, following me on this adventure. I can’t emphasize enough how appreciative I am to have you joining me on Friday mornings for a little glimpse into my kitchen.
Wishing you all the very best for a happy and healthy 2019 filled with family, friends and of course, lots of wonderful food to share…
Until next time!

Hi Valerie,
I love a Friday morning with you. Thank you for all of your good recipes. I use all types; beverages, salads, soups, mains appetizers and the occasional dessert. We are in NYC starting Jan 1. It will be difficult to chose one restaurant, our family members choosing the other days, but I am looking at all of your reviews to narrow things down.
Your family photo is wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
Sending all good wishes for the year ahead.
Please tell Joan K. that Jean Kennett and I miss her.
Appreciatively,
Hannah
Thank YOU Val! I always look forward to a good read on Friday mornings and it makes me feel as if we don’t live so far away from each other; sort of a viral get-together until we plan our next real world get-together. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you, Harvey and the girls.
xoxo
