As I write the words, “It’s a Wrap” to name this last blog post of the year, it is a reminder of how quickly time flies.
2022 was a good year. We were able to travel and I was able to see some family members in person who I hadn’t seen since before the pandemic began. Our dog, Winnie turned 18 and we count our blessings for every day we get with her. And our daughters are both doing well and gainfully employed. When all is said and done, good health and happiness are the best things one can ask for and for that, we are extremely grateful.
Since The Kitchen Scout started back in 2014, I’ve written an annual wrap up of the past year’s recipes, restaurants, and other posts to close out the year. If you are new to the blog, looking back at these annual “wrap-ups” is an efficient way to review the 323 posts on The Kitchen Scout!
How do you find them? On the home page of The Kitchen Scout there is a tool bar and in the middle you will see a category called Outside the Kitchen. If you hover over that, there will be a drop-down menu on which you will see an option for Annual Wrap Ups. If you click on that, you will find them all. Or just click on this link and it will take you directly to the page!
I’m looking forward to more “scouting” in 2023 and will be bringing back my “In Conversation” posts with a few interesting guests. There are so many new restaurants to try – if you have some I should check out I would love to hear from you! And of course, I will continue to share a few things in my day to day life, as I mascarade on occasion as a lifestyle blogger!
So with that, here is a summary of this past year’s recipes, restaurants and travel. Thank you so, so much for following along in this space. It means the world to me, and it makes me so happy when someone tells me they made a recipe or sends me a photo of something they’ve made from the blog 🙂
Wishing you all good health and much happiness in the year ahead…
