I cannot believe September is over! Where the heck did the month go? For me it just seemed to fly by. How about for you?
Do you remember a few posts ago when it was suggested that I was working on something that would hopefully happen in September? Well, I did make it happen and am looking forward to sharing it with you! But it will have to wait until next week which is technically October. Better late than never, right? I want to give the post the time it deserves which was definitely not available to me this past week.
Just to take away some of the mystery here and bring this all back to reality, I wanted to think of a new angle to both engage you as readers and keep myself motivated to continue writing The Kitchen Scout. While I love doing recipe development, restaurant reviews and travel posts, I wanted to take myself out of my comfort zone a bit and try to connect with individuals whom I find inspirational and chat with them one-on-one. I am thinking of people who are largely in the food world or in some form of the creative arts. If they inspire me, I hope they will somehow inspire you too!
So far, I have met with one individual and have another interview in the works. There are so many people I would LOVE to reach out to for interviews, but as I mentioned, this is stretching me a bit. I have to be in the right mindset to send the email asking if they would be interested in doing an interview, etc., etc. I hit send and then run away from the computer. I’m only slightly exaggerating. With luck, I hope to do 6-8 posts of this nature a year.
So while I won’t tell you who I am interviewing in next week’s post, I will give you a big hint by suggesting you reread either of these previous posts 🙂
See you next week!
One Year Ago: Carrot Ginger Soup
Why don’t you interview Giada, Ina or Ree! 🙂 Sounds exciting!
Can’t wait!
So exciting!! You should listen to my niece’s blog, she also has interviewed people who have inspired her but in the world of yarn. Looking forward to seeing what’s in my in box next Friday!
I can’t wait! Very exciting Val. I think I know who it might be – fingers crossed.
I can guess who it is! Exciting!
